Safer Internet Day is organised in February each year to promote the safer and more responsible use of online technology including mobile phones and is particularly aimed at young people.
Now in its eleventh year, Safer Internet Day has become part of each schools calendar with events happening in the UK and all over the world.
The 2014 theme was “Let’s create a better interrnet together!’ encouraging a shared and global responsibility towards online posting.
This year, work will be done in schools to continue this message and to further promote the importance of posting positive online content and opportunities, especially for young people.
How can we help?
Our ‘Approved device’ labels are becoming more popular. By applying this label (branded with school logo and barcoded if wished) to devices brought from home, students then have permission to use them for learning on the education premises.
Here at www.assetlabelsforschools.co.uk we applaud the work done each and every day in nurseries, schoools, colleges, homes and universities to build a better, safer internet.
